Connected and automated vehicle (CAV) technologies have the potential to change transportation on a global scale. These technologies could improve safety, significantly alter transportation costs, and change traffic patterns and congestion.
The Greater Ann Arbor Region hosted a familiarization tour for site selectors on September 15–17, 2016. These site selectors produce 30 percent of the leads for companies interested in relocation or expansion into the region.
Through the Greater Ann Arbor Region’s Prosperity Initiative grant, multiple technical and challenge grants have been awarded to develop talent, including support of efforts to increase regional use of MI Bright Future, a tool that fosters engagement between the region’s students, educators, and employers.
